CPCA data show passenger-vehicle exports pulling away from domestic demand, while the broader customs ledger keeps widening the trade surplus.

Duties on unmanned aircraft systems took effect at 12:01 a.m. eastern time on 3 September. Heavier and thermal-equipped drones, docking stations and listed parts face 100 percent. Smaller airframes face 25 percent, with ally caps if the content is certified.

The missing ledger is now public: 15, 25 and 50 percent counter-tariffs covering C$27.6 billion of U.S. imports, effective 12:01 a.m. EDT on 8 September. Steel and aluminum already at 25 percent rise to 50.

Three White House proclamations put an additional 50 percent duty on listed Canadian goods at 12:01 a.m. Eastern on 22 August. Mark Carney recalled Canada’s negotiators and said Ottawa will match the new tariffs dollar for dollar from Tuesday 8 September. No Gazette schedule was posted on Saturday.

Brazil’s DS646 filing opens consultations over separate 25% and 12.5% U.S. tariff actions. Only overlapping product schedules reach 37.5%, while the filing leaves current customs charges in force.

USTR’s final Section 301 action took effect today against specified products from 60 economies. Covered EU goods receive a net-of-MFN tariff treatment, leaving no extra levy where the existing rate is already at least 10%.
