Chancellor Friedrich Merz reached Kyiv by special train on Sunday morning with Economy Minister Katherina Reiche and ten defence and energy executives [E1][E2][E3][E8]. After he arrived, a Russian attack set off a drone alarm in the city [E4].

Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported an impact on the roadway of the Northern Bridge, hit again by a Russian drone over the Dnipro on Sunday morning [E5][E6].

Debris from a shot-down flying object fell on the roof of a residential building [E7].

Russian assaults earlier this week forced the full or partial closure of three of Kyiv's six road bridges over the Dnipro, suspending traffic and causing tailbacks [E9].
