The White House excluded certain products of Canada from importation into the United States as of 12:01 a.m. eastern time on 29 September 2026, naming them only as those "set forth in the Annex to this proclamation," a list the proclamation itself does not print. [E1]

The Associated Press, using the same 12:01 a.m. Eastern Tuesday clock, described the measure as President Trump’s decision to ban a list of Canadian products to punish Canada for retaliating against his tariffs. [E2]
