KB Kookmin, Shinhan, Woori and Hana were already named in July for the Bank of Korea's September trial, when NewsPim reported that those four banks were taking part and that system tests with participating institutions were under way. [E2]

Yonhap, moving later, put the official timetable further out: the central bank said full implementation is scheduled for January, with overseas banks set to join the network after its official launch. [E1]

Domestic names can sit on a new settlement window while correspondent work for foreign houses is still unfinished. The July Korean-language roster and the later English sentence do not contradict each other; they describe two stages of the same project.

A Bank of Korea notice that names a foreign participant before January, or that delays the January date, would break the sequence those two sentences allow. Until then, four Korean banks are on the trial list, and overseas membership is still written as after launch.
