A Mirabel secure hub links testing and integration work across uncrewed systems, while a May agreement pairs Ukrainian drone designs with Canadian production. The defence industrial strategy also directs the new Defence Investment Agency to use a Build–Partner–Buy sequence and sets a ten-year target for 70% of acquisitions to go to Canadian firms.
